2024 Judges

Jo Blas
Jo Blas is a native San Diegan and has been active in the leather community for over 30 years. She held the title of Ms. San Diego Leather 2000 (stepping up when Doe Blake sadly passed away) and International Ms Leather 2000, the first from San Diego. Jo is proud to have won the IMsL title in Toronto, Canada, the first and only of the IMsL competitions to take place outside of the US to date. Jo was the recipient of the 2001 Pantheon Woman of the Year and the 2001 Community Choice Woman.
Jo has mentored many people in the leather community and is considered to be an elder by her peers. She is honored to have had Judy Tallwing McCarthy recognize her formally as a community elder. In 2023, Jo helped organize the San Diego Leather and Kink Community Education Forum, which gathered leather folk to raise awareness of issues facing the community at large
Today, Jo is busy with her beautiful wife, Jonelle, and their family and is enjoying life immensely!
A’ho, for all my relations.

Tamanava Eden-McLintock
Tamanava Eden-McLintock or “Tammy” is a 50-year-old San Diego native. She’s a married, bisexual, polyamorous mother of one and a collared Switch. She comes from a family with a mixed heritage and a motto that “In service to others, there is service to self.”
She is a member of multiple communities including the LGBT, Leather, Kink and Pagan communities. As a result, Tammy has been blessed to meet, interact and grow with a diverse mix of people. Her hashtag #communitybeginswithme, reflects her spirit of problem solving and goal to always find ways to raise others up. Her efforts have led her to take on many leadership roles in these communities, from presenting BDSM education at UCSD to holding the titles of ICSD Ms. Cinco de Mayo 2016, Ms. San Diego Leather 2017, Ms. Goldilocks San Diego, 2018, Contest Judge and Head Judge.
Tammy has also been long involved with a number of clubs and organizations including Bears San Diego, The Imperial Court de San Diego, Girl Scouts, Club X, Southland Title Sisters, and Hardpink Sisterhood. She is a founding and former board member of the SD Girls of Leather and a former Co-Producer of the Leather Realm. Newly added, she is one of the new Content Creators for the SabbathSocial.com team. These memberships have helped her provide community service, education, activism and fundraising for a number of scholarships, programs, and people in need.
Tammy holds a variety of awards, degrees, and certificates in Education, Nutrition, Sewing, and Theology. She is the sole Proprietor of Broomsticks Designs. In her downtime, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. While she has been locally nicknamed “The Scary Judge,” Tammy is really a very shy, quiet observer who in the end wants to help others just because it feels good to give and to see the lives of others improve.

Pixie Mary
Pixie Mary is International Ms. Olympus Leather 2017 as well as Ms. West Coast Olympus Leather 2016. She identifies as a dominant switch. Pixie Mary has a passion for learning, service, and education. Her journey into the BDSM/Kink community began in 2011 in a conservative Midwestern town. Upon her return to California in the summer of 2014, she found the Leather community, and in it, she found a home. She has dedicated herself to service in any way possible while growing and evolving in turn.

Kelli Kae
Kelli Kae is a dapper leather boi with years of proud service and involvement in the San Diego BDSM and California Leather Scene. She is an educator on various BDSM topics, has volunterred in San Diego’s Leather Realm since 2013, and served on staff for both IMsLBB and DESIRE. Kelli is a member of The Harriott Consortium, a San Diego-based leather family of six queer Black women who bring decades of passion and expertise in service to the BDSM community. Driven by a shared commitment to fostering a safe environment for women to learn and explore, they are dedicated to promoting education and creating a space for experiencing desires in a consensual and respectful manner.

Duke Rough
Duke is the current Los Angeles Bootblack 2019 and GNI Mr. Bare Bear 2023. Duke loves playing hostess with the mostest at Queerwood Manor in the Long Beach area, whether that means baking cookies in heels, servicing a sexy dominant person, or helping submissives find their pleasure. When his face isn’t buried in leather, he is a traveling barber, most often in the nude, because, well, service! Everything Duke does is out of service, and that includes his love of bootblacking. Getting his start 18 years ago as a shoe shine, he started publicly bootblacking about six years ago. Duke’s passion has continued to thrive and he’s extended this charisma through mentoring others.
If a spider were to spin their web to speak of Duke, it would say more than “Some Pig,” “Terrific,” or “Radiant.” The words in that web would sing sweetly about a pig whose heart is dedicated to his service: to himself and others. That web would speak so eloquently of armpits, feet, and piss, that the entire farmers market would weep. That web would prove that Duke is not just “Some Pig.” Most of all, Duke lives up to Charlotte’s words: By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone’s life can stand a little of that.

Shilo Vix
Shilo Vix, a representative of Leather culture and BDSM, is acknowledged for her dedication as a lifelong learner, educator, and community volunteer.
After discovering the rich scene of Central Florida in 2010, Shilo immersed herself in the kink & leather communities of Tampa and Orlando, broadening her understanding of the diverse tapestry of leather culture. Fueled by creative genes, a heart of service, and a deep fascination with leather care, Shilo established herself as a reputable Bootblack, caring for your gear and absorbing the rich stories each time at the stand
Since transplanting to California in 2014 they have become a dynamic force in the San Diego leather scene, inspiring others with their steadfast dedication to leather values and a commitment to growth over stagnation. Her prowess as a Bootblack paired with fierce community support, has led Shilo to represent her city as San Diego Bootblack 2018.
In addition to their local impact, Shilo has served as a judge for various bootblack and leather contests, providing valuable insights and shaping the journeys of aspiring titleholders. It is Shilo’s honor to be a part of this year’s panel of judges for San Diego Bootblack & Leather.
